Climate change, taxes and resource scarcity force us to rethink our consumption.
CO2 can be saved in several ways, especially through the chemical composition of products and through the processing steps of their procurement, manufacture, and delivery. In the long term, durability also plays an important role in saving carbon dioxide.
Newchem has gathered information on this for you (go to: CO2 emissions in the construction industry) and is researching the application of CO2-reducing products (cement-substitution).
Newchem now offers product testing. With the IP-8 Ultrasonic Measuring System, you can analyse your product regarding:

Concrete shrinks due to chemical, physical, and thermal processes during setting. Cracks form, leading to water ingress, rapid deteriotation, extensive maintenance and the use of rebars.
Newchem is conducting research on several forms of expansive additives. We aim to reduce or compensate shrinkage and therefore reduce or prevent cracking, ideally making cement-based produchts crack-free.
