 Anti-shrink additives

  • Newchem AS-27 is a highly expanding additive designed to counteract shrinkage and cracking in concrete and mortars. By reducing cracks, it enhances durability and prolongs the life expextancy of constructions. It increases strenght and is 100% sourced in Europe.

  • Newchem AS-28 is a high quality expanding additive designed to counteract shrinkage and cracking in concrete and mortars, while simultaneously increasing the strength of the product. By reducing cracks, it enhances durability and prolongs the life expextancy of constructions. It is 100% sourced in Europe.

  • Denka POWER CSA is an expansive additives which forms a stable crystalline structure within the cement matrix and gives a durable shrinkage reduction. The additive reduces shrinkage, heat of hydration and may increase strength. In Europe these additives are used mainly in shrinkage compensated mortars.

  • Namex XA is a uniquely modified Magnesium oxide with self-healing properties to counteract shrinkage. To the contrary of most magnesium oxides, Namex XA has been given a reactivity that will allow it to be fully reacted in 90 days.

  • Namex XC is a specifically treated Calicum oxide. Because of the normally high reactivity of CaO, Namex XC was developed as a delayed type. The low water requirement ideally matches the low w/b ratio of today's construction methods.

  • Namex MOX is a mix of selected metal oxides to counteract shrinkage and cracking of concrete. With Namex MOX, a balanced expansion can be achieved.

 Reactive pozzolanic fillers

  • Metaver® is a specially calcined kaolin that reacts with the free Portlandite to form added CSH phases (calcium-silicate-hydrate; cement binder). This makes the cement matrix denser and gives unique properties, e.g. chlorine resistance, reduced efflorescence.

  • Microsit® is a fly ash classified to very fine particle sizes (10µ or 20µ). The fineness of the spherical particle guarantees a higher pozzolanic reactivity and improves the rheology of mortars and concrete. Microsit is approved under DIN 1045-2 for concretes and can partially replace cement.

 Special binders

  • Ecological binder

  • Denka SC-1 is a very special accelerator for Portland cement which is supplied as an additive for finished products such as water stop and quick hardening mortar/concrete. It also supplies excellent hardening characteristics at low temperatures and very high early strength (depending on addition levels).

  • Newchem ACC C65 is based on different Aluminate Cements and was developed to accelerate the setting time and early strength of cement-based products. It increases binding properties and durability. It can be applied where fast setting is needed, e.g., repair and water stop mortars, 3D printing and post fixes.
