Namex® XC
Mineral additive for shrinkage reduction through mild expansion
Namex® XC is a reactive mineral additive for the reduction of shrinkage in cement-bound building materials. On contact with mixing water, the powder ground to cement fineness reacts under a mild volume increase and heat evolution. The controlled expansion can counteract the usual cement shrinkage and thereby contribute to a reduced shrinkage magnitude and a lower tendency to crack.
