Denka POWER CSA® Type-S
CSA expansive additive for shrinkage compensation in concrete and mortar
Denka Power CSA Type-S is a highly effective calcium sulfoaluminate additive for cement-bound mortar and concrete systems. Through the formation of ettringite and calcium hydroxide, a controlled expansion develops within the binder system. This can counteract hydraulic and drying shrinkage, reduce the tendency to crack and support dimensional stability. As the high-performance successor to Denka CSA 20, Power CSA Type-S delivers a comparable shrinkage-compensating effect at a lower dosage.
