Accelerating additives from Denka based on amorphous calcium aluminates shorten the setting and hardening of cement-bound systems – for repair mortars and grouts, flooring compounds, dry-mix shotcrete and precast concrete.
Technology that wins time
Our accelerators are based on amorphous calcium aluminates. They react to form ettringite immediately after water is added, providing fast setting and high early strength. With matched retarders, the working time can be adapted to the mix design and construction process.

Setting and hardening accelerator for mortars and dry-mix shotcrete
Powdered accelerator made of amorphous calcium aluminate (ACA) and anhydrite. 5–20 % by weight of cement – for repair, grouting and water-stop mortars, rapid-setting tile adhesives, flooring compounds and dry-mix shotcrete.
Quick hardening additive with controllable working time
Cementitious additive (QHA) based on amorphous calcium aluminates. Typically 10–25 % cement replacement, 10–30 MPa after 6 h, handling time adjustable with DENKA SETTER D-300 from approx. 20 min to 2 h – for mortars, grouts and precast concrete.
